“Dhamma in Prison: The True Transformation?”

Head Nun of Po Lam Buddhist Association in Chilliwack, BC, Venerable Sik Yin Kit is ordained in the Mahayana tradition. She is also a Mindfulness Meditation teacher, who works with penitentiaries in British Columbia. Whether we are inside or outside of a physical prison or not, she cautions that we can be prisoners of our own minds. Through meditation, she believes that all people have the ability to transform and correct their minds.
