Upaya Chaplain Candidate Kosu Boudreau Serves as CPE Provisional Teaching Supervisor in Toronto

Kosu Boudreau is appointed as CPE Provisional Teaching Supervisor at Bridgepoint Health, the only Buddhist teaching supervisor certified by the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care.

Kosu Boudreau (Third Cohort) is now a full-time CPE Provisional Teaching Supervisor at Bridgepoint Health, a complex chronic care hospital in Toronto. She supervises five students enrolled in their first CPE unit. All five are from Christian denominations: Anglican (Episcopalian in the U.S.), Seventh Day Adventist, Eastern and Greek Orthodox, and Roman Catholic. The students spend half of their time in educational programs, including group and individual supervision, interprofessional education, and spiritual care seminars. Their remaining time is devoted to direct patient care. Kosu is the only Buddhist teaching supervisor (provisional) certified by the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC).
