We are pleased to announce that short, intensive one-credit courses in the Nepali and Tibetan languages are now open for enrolment through the UBC Student Service Centre. There are still spaces available – if you are a current UBC student or affiliate please join us! Access Studies students who registered before March 15th may also enrol; we regret that it is no longer possible to apply for Access status in time for these courses. Enrolment
To enrol, please follow these steps.
1. Go to https://courses.students.ubc.ca and Login with your UBC CWL id.
2. Select 2016 Summer Session (a tab in the top right corner) and search for the course number ASTU 204H. The course is listed as ‘Topics in Interdisciplinary Arts Studies – HIMALAYN STUDIES’ for now. Section 002 is the Nepali course. Section 003 is the Tibetan course.
3. Click on the ‘Section Comments’ to view all details of the course and confirm that you have chosen the correct section for the language you wish to study. Please disregard the listed Start/End Times, and instead refer to the times listed in the Section Comments and in the descriptions above. We are still working with the Faculty of Arts schedulers to correct all details, but rest assured that the Section Comments and this webpage contain the correct information.
4. Click on the course number link to enrol for this one credit course and pay the associated UBC fees.
